Whatever your type of foot, having stinky feet is an issue that can affect everyone and against which there are fortunately effective remedies.
Your feet spend most of their day compressed in shoes and covered with socks. In other words, your foot is choking, and you have to let them breathe!
80% of the population is affected by feet sweating, especially men and children. The main causes are poor hygiene, but also heat or stress.
Here are some remedies that should allow you to fight excessive sweating:
1- Have good foot hygiene
This is the capital point to prioritize. Washing your feet at least once a day while showering or bathing is important. Don't overlook it!
Pay careful attention to the space between the toes and dry your feet well to avoid the appearance of fungus or other diseases.
2- Take care of your feet
Watch your feet closely to make sure they are not damaged. Blisters or fungal infections are always worthy of your attention so that they do not become real health problems down the road. A regular foot bath is necessary to eliminate dead skin and regulate your perspiration.
Many old remedies do exist: cider vinegar, salt, black tea ... there are truly plenty of choices. It's also a great way to relax after a long day at work. Spoil yourself with a bath and take care of your feet at the same time.
3- Choose your shoes carefully
Closed shoes without ventilation, such as plastic or rubber shoes, are to be banned. Leather and cloth are more pleasant materials that will let your feet breathe.
Buy shoes that can be washed easily and regularly change the pairs you wear on a daily basis so you do not wear the same shoes more than two days in a row.
Finally, you can buy a disinfectant or deodorant specifically designed for indoor shoes.
4- Do not forget to get the right socks
The composition of your socks is crucial if you have sweaty feet. Synthetic materials are to be banned and you will have to prefer more noble materials such as cotton or even wool. You can also try "smart" socks.
It is obvious but always good to remember: don't forget to change your socks every day!
5- Test antiperspirants
Powder, spray or gel, there are many products that can help you fight excessive sweating. You can do something about it!
Pharmacies and supermarkets offer a plethora of products to fight this problem, you just have to ask. Talc, anti-fungal products ... the possibilities are almost endless.
This product is controversial but it is effective. It greatly reduces sweating and lasts between 6 and 8 months. It is quite expensive (more than 500$) but it can be worth it.
If despite all this, you can not turn the tide, you can always consult a chiropodist or other foot specialist.
