At Kirkland podiatric clinic, we offer professional foot care to relieve pain or discomfort. Whether it is for corns or calluses, plantar warts, athlete's foot, excessive sweating, foreign body, painful nail, or any other dermatological lesion affecting the foot, the podiatrist will be able to properly diagnose the pathology. We conduct a comprehensive assessment of the general health of the feet, allowing us to provide appropriate treatments and preventive advice needed to improve the condition or to avoid future complications.

We use a wide range of treatments :

NO-PAIN DEBRIDING OF CORS AND CALLOSITY

We offer solutions and treatments to permanently cure the corns or decrease the frequency with which the corns come back.

THICK NAILS CUTTING

Thickened nails can cause pain or discomfort experienced with wearing shoes or during physical activity. A thinning as well as an appropriate cut of the nail may sometimes be necessary to avoid these pains.

INGROWN OR CURVED NAIL CUT

Ingrown or very curved nails can lead to complications if they are not properly cut by a professional. There are different methods to relieve the discomfort caused by this type of nail.

TREATMENT AND PREVENTION OF FUNGAL NAILS (FUNGI)

When we suspect a fungal infection of the nail, it is possible to perform a biopsy and have the nail analyzed in a laboratory.

HEEL CRACK TREATMENT

The heel callos tends to thicken and can sometimes form deep cracks that will be painful. A debridement of the cracks by a professional is then recommended to avoid an infection.

All instruments are sterilized after each use according to the sanitary standards of the Podiatrist medical board of Quebec. This prevents contamination of plantar warts, fungi or other infections that may be transmitted from one person to another.
